Tamba Sasayama locates in Hyogo prefecture, in Kansai area. 1.5 hour train ride away from Osaka or Kobe, and 2 hours train ride away from Kyoto because you will need to go through Osaka.

From KIX to Sasayamaguchi

There are several ways to get  to Sasayamaguchi Station from Kansai Airport. 

By train: 🚃

From Kyoto to Sasayamaguchi

2. From Sonobe West Exit, take the Kyoto Keihan Kotsu bus to Fukusumi.

Sasayama Castle Town Area

From JR Sasayamaguchi station
→　Take the West Exit to bus stand #2（approx. every 30min.）
→　To Sasayama Castle: Exit the bus at Nikaimachi bus stop
　　To Kawaramachi Merchant Houses: Exit the bus at Hon-Sasayama bus stop
　　*It takes around 30min. from the station.

Konda, Tamba-yaki pottery area

From JR Aino station

→　Take a bus (30,31,34)
→　Exit the bus at Sue-no-Sato Mae bus stop
　　*It takes about 16min. from Aino station
