Guest from China!
This time, through an acquaintance, a high school student from China came to stay with us.
When we picked them up at JR Sasayamaguchi station,
they were first impressed by the greenery and mountain scenery. 😊.
The boy said it was totally different from the scenery he usually sees.
I guess he is a city boy.
We went home with our friend, the high school student, and his mother.
So there, his first trip abroad and homestay began.
Actually, the day they decided to stay was his birthday!
Together with his mother and everyone else,
we celebrated by putting candles on the cake. 🎂
We were so happy to be able to celebrate this important day together! 🤗
He is so smart and knows what he wants (in a good way)!
He was immersed in practicing his guitar, which he apparently has been into lately.
He can make all the sounds he wants here because unlike in cities, we don't have any neighbors around to complain the noise! 😂
He was telling me about the education situation in China.
Hmmm, I thought, young people everywhere have it tough.
