Kobe University students came to Tamba Sasayama!
26 exchange students from Kobe University came to visit Tamba Sasayama!
And I(Yoko) being a local guide, joined the event and had lots of fun together!
It is a program the Kobe University put together, so besides the 26 foreign students, there were some organizing team and some staff from the university as well.
In the morning, they went to Konda/Tachikui area to experience pottery. Then came to the castle area for lunch and Dekansho dance practice. After some practice, they went to the Sasayama castle, and danced in the open area outside!
Then divided in to 3 teams, they went off to explore the castle town.
I went around with my guide friend, leading the crowd of 15 people.
We went to Makekirai Inari shrine, Kawaramachi merchant houses district, Odagaki cafe, and Nikaimachi shopping street.
It was about 2.5 hour walk in the castle town area, with some shopping, sightseeing, photo taking and more!
I enjoyed talking to the students very much and impressed their Japanese speaking ability! 😲
Thank you all, for coming to Tamba Sasayama! Hope to see you again soon!😍👍
